If you’ve ever lingered in the baking aisle at the grocery store, chances are you’ve noticed the assortment of muffin mix pouches by Martha White. I don’t know who Martha White is, but these budget-friendly bread mixes make me want to be her BFF. Affordable and available in so many flavors, I’m certain there’s a Martha White muffin mix tailored to your tastebuds.

Each Martha White baking mix contains enough dry ingredients for six muffins, or 18 mini muffins. All you need to add is milk! Recently, I decided to take a detour from muffin prep and experiment with a quick bread version. It’s as simple as combining two packages of muffin mix, and the result is a loaf that’s part bread, part cake. No yeast is required for this bread. I could’ve gone with two pouches of the same flavor, but come on—let’s have some fun!
In the land of Martha White, you have options. I’m a fan of chocolatey baked goods, but I also adore fruity pastries. So, I chose Wild Berry (strawberry and blueberry) and Chocolate Chocolate Chip (yes, that’s the actual name). A chocolate berry bread sounds good, right?

How to Make 3 Ingredient Quick Bread Using Martha White Muffin Mixes

If you have a mixing bowl and a loaf pan, you’re already halfway there. Just mix two pouches of Martha White muffin mix in a bowl, add a cup of milk, and stir until combined.

Next, coat your loaf pan with cooking spray or a little butter, then pour in the batter. That’s it! Into the oven it goes!

What I particularly like about the chocolate berry blend is the balance of flavors. It’s not overly rich in chocolate, nor is it too fruity. It’s just the right mix of both. Plus, I loved seeing the red and blue specks in each slice, along with the melted chocolate chips!
I’m not claiming to have invented this recipe. In fact, I’m sure others have made it before! If this idea is new to you, I hope you enjoyed the photos and grabbed the printable recipe! I’d love to hear which muffin mix combination you try for your own loaf. Let me know in the comments! Happy baking!
